Meet Our Principals

Mark Allen is our Director of Staffing. Mark specializes in the placement of senior and executive level professionals for the Healthcare industry.  

Mark has been with CPUSearch for the past 12 years. Before entering the staffing industry, he held executive level positions within the construction and consumer electronics fields. Having successfully managed companies in excess of 100 employees and revenues in millions of dollars, Mark understands an organization’s critical need to attract the very best talent available. His drive for results allows him to partner with his clients to fulfill their staffing needs in a timely manner.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin awarded in 1979.

V. J. "Zip" Zapotocky founded CPUSearch in 1978 to provide search services to clients seeking high talent professionals for positions in the Information Technology industry. Mr. Zapotocky acquired the reputation for being the "talent scout" for many clients because of his success in recruiting management and key individual contributors.

He spent over two decades in technical and management positions prior to starting his executive search business. His management experience includes both large, established companies as well as start-ups. He has managed numerous development projects involving both data and voice telecommunications systems for corporate and government clients. Products have included some of the earliest long distance call management systems and tandem switches for private networks.

He holds an MBA from  Southern Methodist University  with emphasis in Organization Development  and a B. S. Ed. (Mathematics/Physics) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
